“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up…”

Robyn Broadus Therapy. In-Person in Pasadena and Claremont. Telehealth in California. 626.325.8165

Regardless of what has happened to you, how much you have, what you do, or what other people think or say about you… you are valued. When is less, “more”… for you? And when is less, “less”… for you? What types of things are energy- zapping versus energy-giving this week or in this season? Physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally, socially, etc. I am very mindful of the fact that in this moment, what is “more” or “less” for you is quite plausibly different than what is “more” or “less” for me. In fact, it could be slightly-to-radically different— let’s make room for both to be okay! Of course reading an IG post won’t automatically change the messages that our past might have [wrongly] taught us about ourselves! Even so, I believe this truth is for all of us. If I haven’t shared with you before, I actually suffered an extremely severe traumatic brain injury in 2011, where in the recovery, I re-learned how to hold myself up, talk, walk, etc. This is an example of neuroplasticity— my brain was able to re-wire and still function after being injured. Regardless of what has happened to you, how much you have, what you do, or what other people think or say about you… you are cherished. Regardless of what has happened to you, how much you have, what you do, or what other people think or say about you… you are worthy. 💗 It is 100% a beautiful thing to take care of ourselves. (Or, have the hope or intention of trying💕). Because, as we all know, life is not perfect and we can’t always!! But why not t-r-y when we CAN💓 Regardless of what has happened to you, how much you have, what you do, or what other people think or say about you… you are celebrated. 💗 Did you know that we ALL have a part of ourselves that is bouyed by calmness, curiosity, clarity, compassion, confidence, courage, creativity, and connectedness? These are the “8 c’s.” Please slow down with me for a second, and let me try to provide some hopeful psychoeducation:
