Ways to boost energy

What energizes you?

Three things that energize me are:

  1. blogging
  2. trying to encourage and inspire others, and
  3. being silly

Right now, I am smiling because I’m looking at a photo of my little family, on a walk this past weekend. We did everything possible to try to ensure our baby girl didn’t get sunburned and was safe. Broad-brimmed hats, huge umbrella, poles for stability … 🙂 Not only was this walk energizing for me, but also looking at silly photos of my family is also energizing.

We are each energized and inspired by different things. God made us each uniquely, with different things that we are passionate about, inspired by, and energized by.

Do you notice that you are energized by particular things? What are they?

There’s a connection between the foods we eat, and our corresponding energy levels. There’s also a connection between the activities we do and our corresponding energy levels. Some things that might give me a lot of energy might be draining for you, and vice versa; that’s great–that just shows that we’re made unique. AND, if we pay attention to what brings us energy and try to intentionally include those things in our weekly rhythms, it might make a difference in how we feel and look at our days.

Love that pic of you and Addy! Such joy! Great blog, so true, as I am now back and working FULL TIME, I must say on my time off I can only be around people that bring me joy as was work is quite stressful last week. Looking forward to this week being better!
and hoping that your first Mother’s Day was joyful, how sweet to also spend it with your own Mom!
